How to Factory Reset your Android Smartphone or iPhone - Easy Steps. Do you want to factory reset your smartphone but don't know how to do it? In this post I will be telling you guys how to do that for both Android smartphone or if you use an iPhone. The steps are pretty simple but makes a big impact on your phone as it removes all the data containing in it and resets everything to factory settings, which means that when you had just purchased the smartphone and didn't set up anything. But then it depends on the option you set for, some option lets you delete only data, some lets you delete all the apps and app data and some contacts, call history, SMS etc. Choose an option according to your need.

If you use any Android Smartphone, then do this:

* First of all go to your smartphone Settings.
* Scroll down a bit and you will see an option saying "Additional Settings".
* Tap it and scroll to the bottom, there will be an option saying Back Up and Reset.
* Tap Backup and Reset and there you will see the option saying Reset to Factory Settings.

Choose your desired option.

In case you don't find Backup and Reset option in Additional Settings. Simply open Settings and use the search option, and type Reset to Factory Settings or Backup and Reset.

For iPhone users:

* Go to Settings
* Go to General and then scroll down a bit, tap Reset
* There you will see multiple options on what you want to reset on your smartphone, Erase all Content and Settings is basically Factory Reset for iOS.
