How to Remove Uber India Rides Extra Cancellation Fee Charge and Get Money Back? - If you use Uber India app often on your phone for travelling from one place to another, you may have come into a situation where you cancelled your ride due to some reason and Uber added extra charges to your next ride. This happens even when the driver cancels the ride, you still get those extra charges. Many people end up paying those charges without their fault because they don't know that you can actually remove it and get the money back or prevent it from adding it to your next ride.



So yeah enough talking about what it's about, now I am going to talk about how you can actually do it. Suppose you cancelled a ride due to some emergency and Uber still asked you to pay Rs. 42 as extra charges on your next ride. Follow these steps:
* Open your Uber app on your smartphone
* At the top left of the app, you will see three bars. Tap it and it opens a menu where your name is displayed and rating. Below you will see "Your Trips" option. Tap it.
* After opening Your Trips. Choose the trip where you were charged to pay extra money.
* Trip Details will be opened for the trip you selected, scroll a bit and you will see Help section.
* In the Help section, there's "Review my cancellation fee" option. Tap it.
* There you can provide a valid reason for why you cancelled your ride, and after doing that Uber will give you your money back (through PayTM or other app you used for payment) or it will not charge those extra money on your next ride. It will basically be removed/refunded.

This is how you refund your money. I didn't know how to do this before and because of that I payed alot of extra money on my trips, as I am a long term regular Uber user. There are many times due to some reason I have to cancel a ride, or some time the driver himself cancels the ride and I am still charged to pay extra money. It wasn't just fair but I found this feature Uber has that many people do not know about. Make sure you always provide a valid reason whenever you are charged to pay extra charges, never abuse this customer friendly system.
